About this flight
Although the flight time is short, the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines routes from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta and from Singapore to Jakarta are a treat for aviation enthusiasts. These routes allow passengers to enjoy KLM’s top-tier business class products and services usually offered on long-haul flights.
These flights have been suspended since the COVID-19 pandemic, but I sincerely hope they resume soon. (KLM Royal Dutch Airlines does not offer a First Class cabin.)
This is a trip report of my flight on KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Business Class from Denpasar, Bali (Indonesia) to Singapore.
At Denpasar Airport, I used the Garuda Indonesia lounge.
For the in-flight meal, the main course was a chicken dish with curry flavor.

Welcome Drink

I was served champagne as a welcome drink.
On Business Class flights such as Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur or Denpasar to Singapore, KLM continues onward to Amsterdam as part of its long-haul service. As a result, even on these short segments, amenity kits in designer-brand pouches are sometimes offered. These are not guaranteed on every flight; rather, they may be provided depending on how full the cabin is or at the discretion of the cabin crew.

Miniature House

On KLM Royal Dutch Airlines' long-haul Business Class routes, passengers receive a Delft Blue miniature house modeled after traditional Dutch homes. Even on the short flights from Kuala Lumpur to Jakarta or from Singapore to Jakarta, this delightful Delftware gift is offered.
This Delft Blue house giveaway is a charming service that truly embodies the joy and essence of travel—something unique to KLM and unlike any other airline. I sincerely hope they continue this wonderful tradition.
