ANA In-Flight Meal & Cabin Tour Event “Restaurant FLYING HONU” Business Class
Due to the difficulties of flying on international passenger aircraft during the COVID-19 pandemic, I participated in ANA’s in-flight meal and cabin tour event held at Narita Airport in January 2022, an event that has been offered since May 2021 to let people enjoy the feeling of travel.
For this event, ANA uses three Airbus A380 aircraft introduced for the Honolulu route — one aircraft serves as a restaurant offering in-flight meals, and another is open for a cabin tour. These three aircraft are each painted in special sea turtle-themed liveries in different colors. The word “HONU” in the restaurant name “FLYING HONU” means “sea turtle” in Hawaiian.

From the bus, we could see ANA’s Airbus A380, aircraft No. 3. It features the orange sea turtle livery.
The No. 3 aircraft had just been delivered to ANA on October 13, 2021, about three months earlier, so it still looked very new.
