About this flight
I flew from Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, to Hong Kong in Cathay Pacific's business class.
Since I had some time before boarding at Bangkok Airport, I spent it in the Cathay Pacific lounge, and also visited the Qatar Airways lounge, as both airlines are members of the oneworld alliance.
In the Qatar Airways lounge, I sat on a regal sofa adorned with Arabian-style geometric patterns and enjoyed Arabic coffee and dates.
Onboard, Cathay Pacific served the in-flight meal using a service cart, allowing passengers to see the meal selections as they were presented.
Although the flight was a short one at around 2 hours and 45 minutes, it was a comfortable journey with spacious business class seating and a glass of champagne.
