Lounge Interior

At Dubai Airport, the hub of Emirates, the entire second floor of the concourse building is dedicated to the First Class Lounge. The vast space exceeds imagination and is truly overwhelming.

The interior is furnished with solid furniture, a few individual chairs, and sofas. The spacious layout is beyond what one would experience in everyday life.

Seating Area & Duty-Free Shop

This area also offers a spacious atmosphere. The lounge features a duty-free shop, allowing travelers to enjoy shopping without worrying about crowds or long lines at the checkout. Having a duty-free store inside the lounge is a unique feature of Emirates' Dubai Airport lounge, making it one of a kind in the world.

Expansive First Class Lounge Atrium

The central part of the First Class Lounge is designed with an open atrium.

Spacious Seating Area

Since most international departures from Dubai Airport take place at night or in the early morning, the lounge is almost empty during the daytime. This allows travelers to relax and enjoy a luxurious time without worrying about others.

Fountain in the Entrance Area

In the Middle East, where deserts are abundant, lakes and fountains serve as an oasis, offering a soothing and refreshing ambiance. The tranquil setting, along with the soft cushions, provides a sense of relaxation. The white partition in the background, designed in a temple-like style, adds an elegant touch.

Atrium Seating Area

This area features stylish wooden tables and chairs. The left side opens up into the atrium, enhancing the spacious feel.

Lounge Entrance

This is one of the three entrances to the First Class Lounge. The vast and open space is truly impressive.

Seating Area Near the Entrance

A spacious seating area within the First Class Lounge. The white lattice partition gives the space a Middle Eastern palace-like ambiance.

Nap Room ①

A nap room within the First Class Lounge. The high leather-cushioned partition beside the bed provides privacy and a comfortable resting environment.

The bed in the nap room. The leather upholstery and generous width ensure a relaxing and comfortable rest.

I entered the restaurant inside the lounge. Here is the breakfast menu.

Buffet (Salad Corner)

A salad corner featuring a diverse selection of international salads.

There are three types of dressings and chutneys available:

Breakfast (Sashimi, Foie Gras, Salad, Bread)

The sashimi served at the Emirates First Class Lounge in Cairo Airport is fresh and of high quality, so I picked it up without hesitation.

I also selected a few delicious-looking items from the salad corner.For the main dish, I chose foie gras terrine with grilled mango.As for the bread, I selected garlic toast, a chocolate croissant, and a plain croissant.

Breakfast (Dessert)

For dessert, I had chocolate bavarois with ice cream.

As for drinks, I enjoyed champagne and "Perrier" mineral water.

Japanese (Japanese Cuisine) Corner

This is the Japanese food court inside the First Class Lounge. There is even a sushi chef making sushi behind the counter.

The sushi and sashimi section. There is even a sake barrel on display.

Japanese Corner ②

The sushi counter. If you place an order, the chef will prepare nigiri sushi or sushi rolls. Calorie information is also displayed.

It’s surprising to find such a sushi counter in a Middle Eastern airport.

Mediterranean Corner

This is the Mediterranean food corner.

On the right shelf, you’ll find various open sandwiches (salmon with tomato and basil sauce, boiled egg topped with caviar), mini pizzas, etc.

On the left side, there's a coffee machine and a wooden box filled with dates.

In the center, there are Italian grissini (breadsticks) and sliced focaccia.

Enjoying dates with Arabic coffee is a traditional hospitality gesture in the United Arab Emirates—an exceptional pairing.

Sashimi

I had champagne as an aperitif and enjoyed some sashimi.

After shopping at the duty-free store, I sat on a sofa in the seating area and had another glass of champagne.

Lunch (Champagne & Soup)

Lunch was served in the seating area. I enjoyed champagne, a bread basket, and soup.

Lunch (Main Course)

For the main course, I had a beef steak. The side dishes included creamed spinach and steamed vegetables.

Dessert ①

For dessert, I had Tres Leches Cake (Spanish for "three kinds of milk"—a popular cake in Mexico and Latin America).

A vanilla sponge cake topped with ice cream and fruit. The presentation included a dramatic effect with liquid nitrogen.

Dessert ②

Here is the Tres Leches Cake. The smoke is still lingering in the air.

This elevator takes you up to the First Class Lounge on the 2nd floor and the Business Class Lounge on the 3rd floor.

This escalator takes you up to the First Class Lounge on the 2nd floor and the Business Class Lounge on the 3rd floor.
