Check-in Counter

This is the entrance to Asiana Airlines’ premium check-in counter at Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport. This counter is designated for passengers flying in Asiana Airlines Business Class. Star Alliance Gold members use a different check-in counter located to the left of this premium check-in area.

Asiana Airlines has three business class lounges at Incheon Airport: East, Central, and West. This is the entrance to the one called "East".

Alcohol Counter

This is the alcohol counter. I tried two kinds of French red wine here.

I also tried the Japanese sake “Sho Chiku Bai” on another flight, and it was quite good.

Aircraft

As I passed through the gate and went down the escalator, I could see the aircraft for today’s flight. It was a Boeing 777-200.
The Incheon–Fukuoka route is often operated by Airbus A321 aircraft, but since it seemed particularly crowded on this day, a larger B777-200 was used.

Boarding Bridge

This is the boarding bridge leading to the front cabin entrance for first and business class passengers. A cabin attendant can be seen standing in the background.

Business Class Seat

This is the business class seat for today’s flight. The layout is called a “staggered configuration,” where the seats and side tables are arranged in an alternating pattern to maximize space efficiency.

I was seated in the first row. In front of Row 1, there is a wide surface that can be used to place personal items.

Drink Menu

This is the drink menu. There are two types of red and white wines available. Since the Incheon–Fukuoka route is a short haul, champagne is not served.

Other available drinks include spirits, brandy, beer, juice, cola, coffee, and tea.

Galley

This is the forward galley as seen from my seat. Since this aircraft is configured for long-haul international routes, the galley appears to be quite large.

Taxiing to Runway

The plane has started taxiing toward the runway.

After takeoff, I could see many Korean Air aircraft parked below. On the right side, there were also some Asiana Airlines planes. The departure time was around 6:15 PM, just as the sun was beginning to set.

The flight path map was displayed on the screen in front of the seat. You can also see the galley in the back.

In-Flight Meal

This was the in-flight meal for the day. I had it with a glass of red wine. Since the flight time is just over an hour, a light meal like this is served. The croissant sandwich was served warm.

After the meal, I enjoyed a glass of red wine, and the flight attendant kindly brought me some mixed nuts as well.
